Sean Sprague is a visual artist whose practice is keenly interested in how images occupy the cusp between the real and the fabricated. His work has been exhibited throughout North America and featured in publications such as American Photography, The New Yorker, and Time. He has been awarded grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, the Toronto Arts Council, and the Wenner-Gren Foundation. Sprague studied at the Ontario College of Art & Design in Toronto and received his MFA from the University of California Los Angeles.
